Before we get into the nitty gritty details, we would like to thank-you so much for being patient with us. This has allowed us the time to solidify a new plan to keep us all safe.
COVID – 19 Safety Measures
* Occupancy Limit set at 15 total between staff and guests. Reduced staff levels are necessary to achieve this. The door will be locked if we are close to maximum occupancy. Please respect the 6 foot rule when in the salon unless you are in the stylists chair. We really want to make us all as safe as possible.
* Signs will be posted and guests and staff will be required to ensure no-one enters the salon if they exhibit any symptoms such as cough, fever or difficulty breathing as described in the BCCDC website. We cannot allow symptomatic guests into the salon, so please cancel your appointment if you are not well or have someone in your household who is not well. Access the BC COVID-19 Self Assessment tool or call 811 for guidance with symptoms. Call 911 for serious symptoms.
* Staff and guests must thoroughly wash or sanitize hands when entering the salon and staff must sanitize their hands when transitioning to a new guest. We have missed you all but we must eliminate any physical greeting at this time – signs will be posted.
* Staff and guests must wear facemasks when proper 6 foot separation cannot be achieved. We cannot provide any services without facemasks on both staff and guests. Please cough or sneeze into your sleeve and avoid touching your face.
* No stylist may operate a station within 6 feet of another stylist. Reduce stations and sinks to maintain the 6 foot rule.
* Capes and towels will not be shared between clients. All tools will also be sanitized between guests.
* Appointment times will be lengthened to ensure we have ample time between guests to properly sanitize the salon and stations between guests. 30% fewer appointments will be available each day.
* All services will be provided by appointment. Please arrive alone if possible and a few minutes before your appointment and only enter when your stylist is available for you and has thoroughly sanitized their station. Stations will be sanitized between each guest and all high touch areas will be sanitized on a regular basis. Please let us know if you have suggestions to improve our efforts.
* Please stay behind the plexiglass shield when paying for your service. Use the TAP feature on your card if available. A sanitized pen will be available for PIN operation. The debit machine, front counter, waiting area and plexiglass shield will be sanitized frequently.
* Please refrain from bringing any outside items into the salon and let our staff get any retail products from the shelves for you. We apologize as we will not be providing coffee, magazines or any shared items at this time.
* As a result of our forced closure and new protocols that are set in place for everyones safety, the cost of our services will increase. We appreciate your support and hope you understand that this was necessary to keep the doors open and the lights on.
* Again, Thank-you so much for sticking by us and for being patient through these trying times. We truly could not ask for better clients. We wish we could give you all a big hug, every single one of you, but we all have to do our part and keep a safe distance. As a team, stylists and loyal clients alike, we can all do our part in ensuring everyones safety.
